Piedmont Soccer Club 2007 Girls Purple (PSC07GP) finish first in the Round 1 Platinum State Cup Group

In their 3rd Round 1 match, PSC07GP won 6-4 vs Tottenham Hotspur East Bay Spurs 07 Girls. A mix of scoring from distance, crosses, and free kicks led to an early lead by 07GP at their Witter home field. The Spurs had a few comebacks, but tough defense and composure led to the final Piedmont victory.

This Platinum Round 1 group had 4 evenly matched teams with a mere 4 goals separating first from fourth place, and PSC07GP winning via a head to head victory over Cal Magic 07G East.

PSC07GP is now in the top 16 team’s vying for a chance to win the Platinum Cup in February 2019.
