3rd-12th Grade (U9-U19)

The PSC Recreational program is the non-competitive division designed for players looking to play soccer on a local team that is focused on fun and learning. Players do not attend tryouts and are assigned to teams coached by parent volunteers. 

Starting in 3rd grade (U9) through 12th grade (U19), PSC Rec teams participate in Jack London Youth Soccer League, which combines several other soccer clubs in the area. Games take place locally in Oakland, Piedmont, Alameda, Berkeley and El Cerrito, with around 8 games played in the Fall season. Practices are once a week in the Fall only with your volunteer coaches.  Some teams may play games only on Sundays, for religious reasons.

• Fall season: The Fall JLYSL season lasts from early September through the first weekend of November.  Each team has the option to participate in the End-of-Year JLYSL Rec Tournament, which takes place in the second and third weekends of November.
• Spring season: The Spring JLYSL season includes games on weekends from mid-March through mid-May.  There are no official PSC Rec practices in the Spring. 

Participation in the Spring season is included in your registration fees for the Fall season.  If you would like to register your player, please visit here.
