Volunteer Coach Training a Success

On Sunday evening at Beach Elementary, Piedmont Soccer Club hosted it’s annual Volunteer Coach’s Clinic, which was led by our Director of Coaching, Dan Chubbock, our U9-12 and U13-15 Technical Directors (Ali Feasey and Ben Solomon) and organized by PSC’s Coach Coordinator, Tim Lasocki.

Our fantastic volunteers were put through their paces by the Technical Directors in a number of activities, which included many of the themes from this year’s Fall curriculum.

Coaches were shown how the flow of a session should run, how to adapt to the age/level of your team and ensure that the participants are having fun playing soccer!

You can see some of the enjoyment had by our coaches in the photos and videos below.

If you are one of the volunteers that was unable to attend, please reach out to coachcoordinator@piedmontsoccer.org to request access to the online curriculum and other coaching resources that are offered by our partners at 24-7 UK Soccer Academy.

It was great to see so many new (and returning) faces on the field and we at Piedmont Soccer Club want to thank you all on behalf of our members for the time and dedication that you put in for the children of our Piedmont community.
