Highlander Internal Tryouts

We will be hosting internal tryouts for players that wish to play Spring Soccer for our Highlander (Competitive) program. Regular tryouts will not be taking place until May, so we are looking to bolster our rosters with players from our Recreation league for the Spring season.

This tryout is open only to players that played Rec soccer in 2017. If you played for another NorCal/US Club Soccer team in 2017 you must wait until May 2018 to tryout for Highlanders. Open tryouts for all NorCal clubs will take place in May for all age groups, where returning and new players will be required to tryout again in order to participate in the Highlander program (Fall 2018 – Spring 2019).

Interested But Cannot Attend Tryout?

We recognize that the tryout is during President’s Week, so please reach out to our Director of Coaching and/or Pro Coach for your child’s age group if you are interested in the program, but cannot attend on Feb 22.

When Are Practices?

Practices begin the week of March 5 and run through to mid May, when we will hold our Fall tryouts. You can view the Spring practice table below.

When Are Games?

Teams play 8-10 games in Spring and these begin on March 10, running to approximately May 20. Most games are on Saturdays, but with teams rescheduling for various conflicts and holidays during Spring, teams often have a few Sunday games.

What Is The Registration Fee?

There is no cost to register for tryouts, but if you are offered a place on a team there is a registration fee, which covers club costs and twice a week professional training from one of our 24-7 coaches.

This is for Spring 2018 only and if players are offered spots in May tryouts there will be a new registration fee covering Fall 2018 and Spring 2019.

Spring Highlander Fees

U8 (2010) = $325
U9 – U11 (2009 – 2007) = $450
U12 – U15 (2006 – 2003) = $500
