The Piedmont Soccer Club (PSC) is excited to be commencing our Fall 2020 Recreational (“Rec”) Soccer program! Too bad the smokey air required cancellations due to poor air quality this week (http://www.piedmontsoccer.org/aqi/). When conditions again allow, we are excited to return to Hampton, Coaches, and Beach Fields and the Aurora School field. Big thanks to the City of Piedmont and the Piedmont Recreation Department (PRD) for their permit approvals and support for Piedmont Soccer!
PSC Director of Coaching Dan Chubbock joined Age Group Coordinators, Board Members and parents on Thursday September 10 to discuss the logistics for return to play for Fall 2020 recreational soccer season.
To provide an overview of logistics and expectations for parents and players for the start of the Fall season, Piedmont Soccer is hosting an online Town Hall meeting this week with club coaching staff and board members. Everyone is welcome to attend.
We are very excited that we will be able to get back on the field with our teams.
Your coach and team manager should have updated you by now with your training schedule for the coming weeks. If you do not know your schedule yet, then please reach out to them directly.
As a follow up to our recent email to the club, we want to let you know that we continue to monitor the situation, with regards to COVID-19.
As stated previously, for the safety of all our members, we will have no practice or games until March 31. We will look to re-evaluate after that time. During this period, we be sending our members regular updates to keep you informed of any changes that will impact you or your child.
We continue to work with our partners in the School District and Parks & Rec to ensure that we have the most up to date information and will pass this along as necessary. As things stand all facilities where we obtain permits have closed to community user groups until at least Mar 31.
