PSC recreational soccer teams from the Fall 2022 season have the option of continuing to play this spring for an 8-game season (weekends only, no practices) from April 1-June 4. Information will be sent to Fall 2022 coaches and players this month.
There is limited availability for new players, who did not play on a team in the fall, to register for the spring season. If you are interested in playing, please contact your Age Group Coordinator for the registration link.
We are continuing to monitor the hotter weather this week and reference the US Soccer’s heat guidelines on how to practice safely in the heat+humidity using the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT). Piedmont is in the “Cat 1” region.
Over 100 Piedmont youth soccer players turned up for the Friday Night Lights soccer event at Witter Field on Friday August 25th. Boys and girls aged 5- 15 came out in full force to kick off the Fall season. After playing in a series of games on small fields, players then competed in a Penalty Kick competition to end the evening. This free event, hosted by the Piedmont Soccer Club, has become an annual tradition, now its 4h consecutive year.
