About Piedmont Soccer Club

Founded in 1976, the Piedmont Soccer Club (PSC) was established for the purpose of developing, promoting, and administering the game of soccer among Piedmont youth under the age of nineteen without regard to race, creed, sex or ability. Incorporated as a California Non-profit Public Benefits 501(c)(3) corporation, PSC is a volunteer led organization, where members of the PSC Board and parents help run the program. With over 1,100 children registered yearly, PSC’s player membership represents nearly one out of every two students in the community. The club utilizes all playing fields in Piedmont as well as fields in Alameda for practices and games. It has been continually looking for additional field sites to meet the needs of its growing participants.

Our Vision

The club of choice for youth athletes in the Piedmont community. Promoting exemplary sportsmanship and ethics, PSC will provide opportunities for every age and level to grow through the sport of soccer.

Defining The Vision

Promote holistic development through soccer.

Style of Play

An offensive style of play, based on ball retention and quick supporting movements off the ball.
Players will be taught to be comfortable on the ball in 1v1 situations, whilst also understanding when and where to pass.
A strong emphasis is put on speed of play and quick organisation during the transitional moments of the game.
