Spring Season 2010
The Jack London Youth Soccer League Spring Season for U10 and older teams will begin on April 10, 2010, and run through May 29th, 2010.
If you want to play soccer in the spring, work with your fall team coach(es) to put together a roster. Please contact your Age Group Coordinator for other teams in your age group that may want to combine squads or for available players who have not been assigned to a team. Fall 2009 Coordinator contacts are on the www.piedmontsoccer.org website.
There is no fee or registration form required for players registered in Fall, 2009. New players must complete a registration form and pay a fee of $75; for registration forms and team assignments, contact the PSC Registrar at registrar@piedmontsoccer.org. The deadline to finalize teams is March 14.
All players must have a medical release form (with wet signature) and either: (i) a player pass; or (ii) be included on an "official" roster list (to prove registration) in order to play. The release form (PDF) is here.
Teams must have referees. For information, contact the PSC Referee Coordinator at referee@piedmontsoccer.org.
Here are some additional notes about spring soccer. If you have questions, please contact your Age Group Coordinator.
Spring soccer is informal and for having fun and maintaining soccer conditioning.
Teams will be flighted within age groups but there will be no team standings.
Teams are formed by returning fall coaches putting together their teams with extra players from other teams (e.g. combining teams). Rosters of 15+ for U10 teams and 20+ for U12 and older are not unusual. This is because conflicts with other sports during the spring result in it being tough to get a full compliment on the field for games.

Most Piedmont teams do not have practices during the spring. However, we do have a limited amount of space for practices at Alameda Point. If interested in practice times, contact the PSC Field Coordinator at fieldcoordinator@piedmontsoccer.org.
If you have a player interested in playing up to the next age group during the spring, contact the appropriate Age Group Coordinator to determine team availability and to discuss the player's experience level.
