GAME REPORT SUBMISSION FOR THE PIEDMONT POST

Dear Coaches,

Until further notice, please send your weekly game reports to Michael Lee at coachcoordinator@piedmontsoccer.org. The reports should get to this email address by 8pm Sunday if they are to appear in the Post the following Wednesday. Please consider writing a short report, no more than 60 words (main body i.e. not including the headings). It gives the club great visibility and is really fun for the players to see their names in print at least once a season. (Try and find a way to get all your players in over the 10 games during the season.)

Here's an example of the format you should adopt from a recent U12G game. Please include your word count. Mention the score in the first/lead sentence please.

	Home Team: Name & Score Away Team: Name & Score
	60 word summary with score in first sentence.

	The Five-Ps worked hard for their 2:0 victory on a small, bumpy field. New girl, Cate Selna, was imperious in the Five-Ps goal and Sophie Reynolds ran the Jaguars' defense ragged, slotting the first goal after ten minutes. Megan Deutsche's high shot over the goalie in the second half sealed the victory. Excellent all-round team spirit from the Five-Ps. (58 words)
